50K Relay

 

Leg Lengths:

6 miles— exchange first aid station

11 miles — exchange 3rd aid station

14 miles — finish

Instead of a baton, we will be using a 75 pound anvil. Or maybe a wrist band. Relay team members will have a number on their back also.

 

Due to the congestion at aid stations 2/4, we could not have an exchange there.

 

The runner is responsible for getting to and from the transition points. I assume the first runner will get the 2nd runner’s car at the first aid station and that the 2nd runner will get the 3rd runner’s car at the 3rd aid station. We need to keep the number of cars at the aid stations to a minimum.  Always park well off the road and facing the same directions as any other cars parked nearby.

 

Price and amenities: Same as 50K and 25K, $40 per person ($120 per team).
